A traditional Malian tune, one of the most popular and often-played kora tunes in West Africa. Renowned Gambian kora player Amadou Bansang Jobarteh said, "Kaira is a well from which everyone drinks."

This arrangement was taught to me and Mark DiFlorio by a great kora player we met in Dakar, Senegal, who sat in with our jazz quartet there.
