Sinyaro

from Cascades by The Kora Band

/

about

A praise song for a generous patron. Some of the text includes an invitation to the evening's entertainment, saying that though all patrons may have been created by the same creator, they are not all equal in benevolence. The musical arrangement pays homage to the strong influence of Cuban music in West Africa in the post-colonial period.
