Ngoni System

from Cascades by The Kora Band

/

about

by Andrew Oliver

A new original tune inspired by the ngoni, another traditional jeli instrument which is older than the kora, and is the ancestor of the banjo. This one also features Mark on calabash, a large multi-purpose gourd used not only as a drum but also as a bowl and as one of the main components of the kora.
